How to Hire A VA with SphereRocket?

What’s the process for hiring a VA (virtual assistant)? I used a VA placement provider, Sphere Rocket which specializes in finding VAs for real estate agents. All VAs are from the Philippines, they will work the 3rd shift so that they can be working in the same time zone as you. To start the process, you’ll want to follow the steps below.

  • 1. Visit: https://www.sphererocketva.com/virtual-assistant
  • 2. Schedule a Call
  • 3. Where did you hear about us?
  • 4. Click “Referred To You By Current Sphere Rocket Client”
  • 5. Enter my name “Lor Vang” into the box If you selected “A Current Sphere Rocket Client” Please provide their name below so we can thank them for the referral.
  • 6. Answer the remaining questions and prepare for the call.

Your initial call is a consultation call to determine what is your #1 and or #2 task that you need a VA to help you within your business. You’ll discuss what kind of requirements you seek in a VA such as skill set, work experience, and behaviors you are looking for in a VA. From here they will take the information and conduct a search for a handful of ideal candidates based on the information you gave them. It takes about 1-2 weeks, but they will schedule an interview day with the potential matching candidates they’ve found. On interview day, you are on a virtual call with a Sphere Rocket recruiter and conducting joint interviews with each candidate. Before each interview, you will be given their resume, DISC profile, and hourly pay rate request. The recruiter will help you ask questions, but as the employer, you will be able to ask questions that you have as well. From here you choose the best candidate to bring on as your VA. You will both sign an independent contractor agreement and then congratulations you’ve just hired your first VA. Now what? After you’ve agreed on a start date. It’s time to take Sphere Rocket’s training modules to prepare yourself to work with your VA. Sphere Rocket provides you with a list of the best software programs out there to use to work with your VA effectively. They also train all VAs as well on the same tools and software. They also cover how to pay your VAs.

This leads to the major question, what’s the cost to hire a VA? At the time I hired my VA, Sphere Rocket charged me a one-time VA placement cost of $5,000. After this, I only pay my VA for the hours they work. That hourly rate is dependent on each VA’s request based on skills and experience but can range from $3-$6/hr.

So this is a high-level overview of how to hire a VA through Sphere Rocket. If you should have any further specific questions please reach out to me.
